Adding data and script resources to the repository

This section of the lexical resource center offers both tools and space to let you upload data of yours (databases, tables, datasets) for sharing them with colleagues

The procedure to upload a resource is very simple.

  1. Describe the resource (authors, decription, reference to cite, etc.). [Required].
  2. Detail the variables (data file) or paramaters (script file) of the Resource. For a database, for instance, you have the possibility to lists the variables, provide a brief description and and specify the query to be performed on each one of the correspondig column of data. [Optional].
  3. Upload the resource file. For databases, this file should be a text file (with ".txt" as extension) with columns separated by tabulations and rows separated by "end of lines" characters. If you do not wish to let us have a copy of your data file (for licensing reasons, for instance), it is possible to provide only a description of the resource and have it listed in our repository (with links to a website that you specify). [Optional].

Forms on this website take you step by step through the definition of these elements.

If you find it easier, a description file can be written in advance and used to automatically fill these forms (don't forget to check up our coding standards first).

The resource will be made public immediately after approval... this can take up to two days.
